Ron Ekema was outstanding as a realtor. He is well experienced and very tentative to his clients. My husband and I started off looking for a relator that was dedicated to helping us and doing what was best for our interests, Ron exceeded expectations. He is extremely personable and knows how to get business done! Words cannot express how much we appreciate Ron and his team and how smooth the whole process went for us because of them. I would never recommend anyone other than Ron and his team!!

We had the pleasure of working with Ron for around 3 years. We started our house hunt in 2017. From 2017-2020 we probably saw over 30 houses with Ron. We just could never find “the one.” In 2019 we actually thought we had one but after inspection, there were too many issues and we walked from the house. Fast forward to the beginning of 2020 and the right one showed up, we swooped in and got it! The reason I share the background is because of the patience that Ron ALWAYS had with us. He NEVER once pressured or pushed us to a house that wasn’t right. He got to where he knew IMMEDIATELY how we felt and would often joke with us if he could tell immediately we were not going to like it. My wife and I always felt bad for wasting his time on the walk throughs. But his response was always, “now we know one that isn’t right and we’ll find the right one”. On the house we thought we were going to buy, we really felt bad telling Ron we wanted out. Again, he NEVER said anything less than positive support in our decision! Not only did Ron do amazing work getting us set up with the new house, thanks to his team, he was able to help us sell our house as the Covid Pandemic started. Through his connections he was able to find an agent he knew that had an ideal fit family for our old house. Within 10 days they were able to get it locked in with an agreement around full asking price! He also pushed the titling and mortgage companies to ensure that bought and sold on the same day so we didn’t have to have a bridge loan to buy the new house. Ron is someone you can trust and someone who will NEVER pressure you. I couldn’t recommend him enough!

I would not recommend Ron or his agency. I felt like Ron and his team said the right things to get me to sign a contract, then did not have the skill set to back it up. On this survey, the only reason I rated “negotiations” as a 1 is that a lower rating was not offered. It felt like Ron and his team were working for the buyers and not for me. I finally closed on my house his week yet have not heard from Ron in 3 months.

Ron did an amazing job helping us find our home. He gave us some great recommendations when it came to location, and his thoughts about some of the homes we looked at without being pushy at all. He was able to get us into homes we found very quickly, and he showed us many that he had available as well. Once we found the home we wanted, Ron and his team did an excellent job helping us navigate the buying process, negotiating with the sellers, and working with the loan and title companies. I could not recommend Ron and his team more if you are buying or selling a home. He definitely cares more about people than numbers, and it shows through his constant communication, honest advice, and helpfulness through the entire process.
